Krampuslauf, Portland Oregon, December 2011

This Krampuslauf was the first major mumming event I participated in, with a couple of friends. It was organized by some folks in Portland who I found online. Everyone gathered in a park to don costumes and get ready, then after sunset we paraded down Hawthorne Boulevard, chanting in German, ringing bells, growling, and having a great time interacting with passersby.
