Circassian Mummers?

In this incredible music video we get a glimpse into Circassian culture, complete with masked figures very similar to other mumming costumes I have seen. I don’t know exactly how they are used traditionally (the description mentions masks being worn in weddings and other ceremonies), but I suspect at least some overlap with the type of guising present in so many other cultures. In any case, I find this whole performance to be striking and deeply powerful.
